Wayne D. Green's Obituary
Wayne D. Green was the son of the late Albert and Osiclea Green. He was born on March 6, 1944 and departed this life on Monday, May 5, 2014. He was 70.
He was educated in Laurel, Delaware at Paul Laurence Dunbar School. He worked at George Collins Farm and then for Venables and Company in Laurel driving heavy equipment. He leaves to cherish his memories his three sisters, Thelma Stanley of Laurel, Arlene Green of Seaford, and Tanya Calissa Waters of Newark, DE, a loving companion Martina Cannon, two brothers-in-law, Joseph Stanley of Laurel and Forrest Waters of Newark, DE, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including a special friend who he called “Pop”, Bill Venables of Laurel and his best friend, Larry Stewart. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sharon Green and a brother Richard Green.
