Wayne D. Jester's Obituary
Wayne D. Jester passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital in Easton. He was 67.
He was born on May 25, 1945 in Bridgeville, DE the son of the late Elmer F. Jester and Mary Robinson Jester.
A “Jack of All Trades”, Wayne was a “people person”. He held various jobs over the years and could do anything. He loved spending time with his friends and family and was the life of the party. He especially loved the New York Yankees and race horses.
He was a member of the VFW Post #4961, The American Legion Unit 6, and the Moose Lodge Chapter 1728 all in Seaford, DE. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Jester of Preston, a daughter, Maryanne Austin and her husband Steven of Great Mills, MD, a son, William Jester and his wife Amy of Preston, MD, two sisters, Virginia “Ginny” Joseph of Blades, DE, Phyllis Connor and her husband Wayne of Bridgeville, DE, and a brother, Jeff Jester and his wife Jackie of Accocreek, MD.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, Federalsburg, MD. Interment will follow in the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00-1:00 p.m.
