Wayne Leon Trice's Obituary
Wayne Leon Trice passed away at home in Federalsburg, MD, on Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was 68 years old.
He was born on November 1, 1948 in Easton, Maryland, the son of the late Leon Francis Trice, and the late Mary Jane Jester.
He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 1967. He is survived by his wife the former Marilyn Virginia Walton of 49 years. They married on October 14, 1967. He was a Book Binder at Cadmus Journal Services, formerly Waverly Press, for 39 years before retiring in 2010.
He loved to work on antique cars and motorcycles. Since he could fix anything there were always many projects he had in progress. He also loved bird watching as well as all the different types of farm machinery. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Virginia Trice, a son, Darren Wayne Trice, a daughter, Melinda Lynn Trice, his granddaughter, Abigail, his sisters, Bonnie Salmons and her husband Jack, Susan Long and her husband John, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 2:00PM, at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD with a visitation hour from 1:00PM – 2:00PM. Internment will immediately follow the service at nearby Hill Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Compass Regional Hospice, 160 Coursevall Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
