Wil Staton's Obituary
Wil Staton of Federalsburg passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 on his 24th birthday in Linkwood, MD.
He was born on July 29, 1992 in Easton, Maryland the son of Lloyd William “Bill” Staton, III of Felton, DE and Donna Ennis (Ben Culhane) of Federalsburg.
He worked as a carpenter for the Sandwood Corporation in Ridgely. He enjoyed going crabbing, fishing, hunting, and golfing. He was an avid fan of the Ravens, the Orioles and Nascar with his favorite driver being Carl Edwards. His favorite sports number was #12 and loved everything associated with that number through the years. One of his greatest joys in his life was spending time with his son Liam.
Besides his parents Wil leaves to cherish his memory, his forever soulmate, Kasey Lane of Federalsburg, his son, Liam Staton and a baby on the way, two sisters, Renee Staton (Brent Beck) of Federalsburg, Jessica Ennis (Ryan Blevins) all of Federalsburg, three nephews, Carter & Carson Beck, Adryan Blevins, his grandfather, Harry Shank of Kyle, Texas, his great grandmother, Kythal Staton of Federalsburg, an uncle, David Ennis (Angie) of Hurlock, an aunt Sandy Wheatley (Jeff) of Hurlock, two cousins, Caden Ennis and Ben Wheatley. He was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Linda Shank and Wanda Ennis, and his great-grandparents, Leona & Irving Hopkins.
Funeral services for him will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Union United Methodist Church, 301 N. Main Street, Federalsburg with Pastor Peter Smith officiating. Interment will follow
at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Framptom Funeral Home, 216 N. Main Street, Federalsburg, MD 21632 to help to defray funeral costs. www.framptom.com.
