Wilda E. Parsons' Obituary
Wilda Emogene Stemple Parsons of Hurlock, MD passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. She was 75.
She was born on December 27, 1939 in Harrison Co., WV, the daughter of the late James A. Stemple and Dessie Sannoma Linn Stemple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Leonard Parsons on January 11, 2012.
She previously worked for Gieco Insurance Company. Wilda had attended Grace Baptist Church in Hurlock. She loved to work in her flower garden and was an avid doll collector.
She is survived by two sons, Eric Parsons of Cambridge, Lyle Parsons of Hurlock, four sisters, Maxine McCartney of Ohio, Mary Mick of West Virginia, Murhl Blessing and Johnny Wood both of Virginia, five brothers, Clayton Stemple of Washington, Victor Stemple, James Stemple, Jerry Stemple, Harold Stemple all of West Virginia, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Stemple and Leonard Stemple and a sister, Nancy Winters.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Interment will be on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1315 Mt. Hermon Rd. Salisbury, MD 21804.
