William A Rose's Obituary
William A. Rose St. Michaels, William Anthony Rose of St. Michaels died at the U.M.S.M.C. Easton on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. He was 74. Born on January 13, 1942 in Catonsville, Baltimore, Co. he was the son of the late William and Margaret Cremen Rose. He attended St. Agnes Grade School, then Mt. St Joseph's. He graduated from Catonsville High School and attended Catonsville Community College. He had a long career with the Westinghouse Corp., retiring as Head of Training and Development for the Aero Space Division at age 50. In 1999, he and his wife, the former Barbara Martin, moved to St. Michaels. Mr. Rose was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, attending St. Michaels Mission Church. In addition he was the president of the St. Michaels Planning Commission for 7 years, and the membership chairman of the M.R.Y.C for 7 years. Mr. Rose had a passion for cooking and was an excellent chef. In addition to his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara, he is survived by two sisters, Margaret Rose Davis of St. Michaels, and Marie Rose Ludington of Easton as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Longerbeam. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM at St. Michaels Catholic Mission Church on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Burial will be private. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society 29533 Canvasback Drive PO Box 783 Easton MD. 21601.
