William Albert Brown's Obituary
William Albert Brown of Federalsburg, Maryland passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home. He was 74.
He was born on January 1, 1941 in Federalsburg the son of the late James Milton Brown and Leona Paul Brown.
He attended schools in Caroline County and started working as a truck driver for Caroline Poultry, and John F. Tilghman Company. He later worked for SL Webster’s and eventually retired in 2000 from M & M Refrigeration in Federalsburg as a service technician traveling all over the world.
He was a member of the Federalsburg VFW Post #5246 Men’s Auxiliary, and the Poor Boys Yacht Club in Hurlock. He loved riding his Harley, traveling, fishing on his boat and spending time with his family and friends.
He was married on June 11, 1960 to Rosalie Smith Brown for 40 years. She preceded him in death on August 21, 2000.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna Milby and her husband Scott of Cordova, MD; two sons, Michael “Beatle” Brown and his companion Claire of Seaford, and James Brown of Federalsburg; three grandchildren, Daniel Brown and his wife Sherri of Cordova, Brandon Milby of Cordova, and Rachel Breeding and her husband Travis of Harmony; six great-grandchildren, Dalton, Olivia, Liam, Trent, Trace and Rilyn; his companion Norma Lloyd of Harmony, and one sister, Shirley Bennett of Federalsburg
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Brown.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Denzil T. Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00.
