William "Buster" Henry's Obituary
William O. "Buster" Henry of Federalsburg passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at his home. He was 96.
He was born on July 14, 1929 in Marlington, New Jersey, the son of the late Ollie Henry and Helen Towers Henry.
After his education, he enlisted in the United States Army. After his service, he returned home and married Jessie Merrick Henry and they made their home in Federalsburg. She preceded him in death on February 14, 2021 after 71 years of marriage.
He was the owner and operator of Henry's Furniture and Shore Furniture in Federalsburg along with his wife and family for many years. He traveled to many area auctions and sales to find merchandise for his stores offering affordable furniture and old fashioned customer service. He was known for his sense of humor, and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by two daughters: Bonnie Wanex and her husband Eddie, Connie Henry of Federalsburg, and one son, Donnie Henry of Federalsburg; nine grandchildren: Felicia Evans, Allan Evans, Jr. (JR), Andre Henry, D.J. D'Aquila, Chasity Miller, Donnie Henry, Jr., Daniel Henry, Ronnie Henry, Jr. (RJ) and Samantha Henry; and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Henry and a grandson, Christopher Henry.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 12:00 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg.
