William Gary Cooper, Sr., 83, fondly known as Gary, died on February 25, 2017 from complications of pneumonia. Born on December 7, 1933 in Bozman, Maryland at home, he was the sixth and last son of John William Cooper and Rosie Jones Cooper.

They were blessed with two sons, Steven and Gary, Jr., two grandchildren, Jacob Cooper and Heidi Welch and her husband, Derek, and one great-granddaughter, Adalyn Welch. After retiring from printing Gary developed his own business of watch and clock repairs at which he was highly skilled.
Gary loved boating, fishing, and dipping soft crabs. Photography was one of his favorite pastimes and he taught himself to repair cameras which he used to take many artisitic shots. He fought a good fight but God knew it was time. He will be greatly missed.
