FIRTH, William Charles
Bill Firth passed away on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25, 2016, at Genesis The Pines Eldercare in Easton, Maryland. Bill is survived by his wife Mary Virginia (Ginny) Firth, and daughters Nancy Mandl and her husband Peter, and Susan Cromwell and her husband Ronald. He is the adored grandfather of Sarah Smith, Zachary and Sally Mandl, James Keeting and Phillip Cromwell. Bill is survived by his sister Barbara Brown and is the beloved uncle of her children Carolyn, Margot and Peter. Bill is the dearly loved step father of Kathy, Paul, Tricia and John. The son of the late Lorne Miller Firth and Jean Methven Mearns, he was also predeceased by his first wife Dede Carling and daughter Sally Smith. Charming and witty, Bill brought a smile to everyone's face. A kind soul with a big heart. Local services were private at the convenience of the family. A memorial service will be held in Ottawa, Canada in the Spring of 2017. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton 219 South Washington Street, Easton, MD 21601. Services entrusted to the Ostrowski Funeral Home, P.A., St. Michaels.
