William John Hubbard Jr.'s Obituary
William John Hubbard, Jr., of Hurlock, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Washington Center Hospital in Washington, DC. He was 75.
He was born on October 7, 1939 in Bethlehem and was a son of the late William John Hubbard, Sr. and Audrey Lee Virginia Wright.
William graduated from North Dorchester High School Class of 1958. After graduating high school, he entered the United States Army, where he served until 1967. He worked as meat cutter and later as a machine operator for E.I. Dupont. Mr. Hubbard enjoyed playing bingo and loved going camping with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Michael Hubbard, of Federalsburg, and Richard Hubbard, of Preston, three grandchildren, Joseph Hubbard, Andrew Hubbard, and Karrie Hubbard, a brother, Ralph Hubbard and his wife Sara, of Hurlock, a sister, Barbara Quillen and her husband Ernest, of Federalsburg, a niece, Samantha Quailes, and a nephew, William Barry Hubbard; and a former wife, Hannelore “Kitty” Hubbard, of Federalsburg.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Pastor Howard “Buddy” Dunn officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
