William Vincent Jewell's Obituary
William Vincent Jewell of Federalsburg passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was 64.
He was born on April 11, 1957, the son of Mabel Towers Payne.
He was married on March 10, 1984 to Diane Ewing Jewell and they made their home in Federalsburg.
He worked for B&G Foods in Hurlock as the maintenance supervisor. He also worked for Dupont for many years until he retired. He liked to tinker in his garage and could fix almost anything. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and also listening to music and playing his bass guitar. He especially loved to spend time with his family and special grandson Mason.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Diane Ewing Jewell, a son, Josh Jewell and his wife Stephanie Jewell, a special grandson, Mason Jewell, his mother Mabel Payne, and two sisters Tammy Payne and Dawn Adams of Federalsburg. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved and he had a lot of close friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Jewell and a sister, Marsha Joines.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 1:00 at Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
