William Joseph "Bill" Kreutzer's Obituary
William Joseph Kreutzer, Sr., fondly known as Bill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at his home in Federalsburg. He was 76.
He was born in Welling, West Virginia on June 9, 1939, a son of the late Herman Kreutzer and Alice Little Kreutzer. On January 11, 1964, he married Kathleen Kreutzer.
Bill was employed as a police officer for the Washington DC Police Department and later the Prince Georges County Police Department from where he retired. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed camping, fishing, and wildlife. Bill was an avid history buff and sports fan, especially basketball. Most of all he loved the Eastern Shore. He was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police Organization.
He is survived his wife of 52 years, Kathleen Kreutzer of Federalsburg; two sons, William J. Kreutzer, Jr. and Gregory Kreutzer; two daughters, Kristina Kreutzer and Karen Checho; two grandchildren, Heather Checho and Lauren Checho; one brother Herman Kreutzer; one sister Arlene Nickerson and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private.
