William Paul Wockenfuss, Sr.'s Obituary
William Paul Wockenfuss, Sr., of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. He was 64.
Bill was born on March 5, 1950 in Annapolis, MD the son of the late William Emil Wockenfuss and Irene Leah Wilson Wockenfuss.
He worked at Solo Cup Company in Federalsburg for over thirty-three years. He was a supporter of the US Trotting Association. Bill loved Christmas and anything to do with trains and cars. He will always be remembered as a hard working man.
He is survived by his sons, William Paul Wockenfuss, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Mechanicsville, MD, William Shawn Wockenfuss of Federalsburg, four grandchildren, William Edward Wockenfuss, Elizabeth Marie Wockenfuss, both of Mechanicsville, MD Skyler Jordan Wockenfuss of Federalsburg, Hailey Rose Wockenfuss of Mechanicsville, MD, and a brother, Warren Wockenfuss of Jacksonville, FL. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother and sister, and his companion for many years, Thelma I. Mills.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. April 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Peter Smith officiating. Interment with follow at Bloomery Cemetery in Federalsburg. A visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
