William Reece Brown's Obituary
William Reece Brown of Seaford, DE passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at his home
surrounded by his loving family. He was 63 years old.
He was born Dec. 8, 1945 in Federalsburg, the son of the late Myron and Rose Sparks Brown.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, serving two tours in Vietnam being honorably discharged in 1968. He was a tractor trailer driver for over 35 years. He enjoyed stock car races at the Delaware International Race Track.
He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Dotti Mullen Brown, whom he married on Jan. 3, 1969, daughters, Amy Mitchell and her husband Keith, and Christine Doby, all of Seaford, son William R. Brown, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, grandson, Christopher Doby of Seaford, 5 loyal companions, Gracie, Puddie, and Sassy Brown, 1 grand dog girl Bella Mitchell and 1 grand dog boy Samson Brown, mother-in-law, Dorothy Mullen of Fitchburg, MA, sister Marylou Stafford and her husband, Charles, of MD, aunt, Lena Keiser of Mouth of Wilson, VA, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, and the following sister and brother-in-laws, Mary and John Cail of NH, Ann and Russ Gahan of MA, Edward Mullen, Jr. of NH, Judi and John Tully of MA, Colleen and Charles Davieau of MA, and Robert Mullen of MA
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel
Cemetery near Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
