Yulanda A. Hudson Keene's Obituary
Yulanda A. Hudson Keene of Federalsburg, Maryland passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She was 49.
She was born in Easton, Maryland the daughter of the late Joseph O. Hudson and Elizabeth L. Marshall.
She was raised in Easton and moved to Federalsburg in 1977 when she married Gerald L. Keene. They were married for 31 years. She was a homemaker, and a former Cub Scout Master for Pack 137. She was a valued member in the community, loved by all.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald L. Keene of Federalsburg, two sons, Michael J. Keene of Seaford, DE, and Joseph P. Keene of Federalsburg. Five grandchildren, Kaylea Brooke Keene, Lily Madison Keene, Brianna Nicole Conley, Matthew James Schyuler and Olivia Grace Keene two brothers, Steve Hudson of Huntsville, AL, and Richard L. Jones of Bozman, MD, three sisters, Joenna McGriff of New Market, AL, Sandy Ropchock of St. Michaels, MD, and Kimberle S. Gallagher of Greensboro, MD, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Vickie L. McKinney. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of God in Federalsburg with the Pastor Peter Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. on Wednesday evening from 7-9p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday. Interment will be private.
