Yvonne Hallowell Wright's Obituary
Yvonne Hallowell Wright of Federalsburg, MD, known fondly as “Vonnie” passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012. She was 75.
She was born March 3, 1937 in Milford, DE, the daughter of the late Harry Thomas Hallowell and Margaret Bowers Hallowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Wright.
She had been employed at the Crab Claw in St. Michaels at their bookkeeper for a number of years. She had also been a real estate agent and a clerk in the gift shop at the Maritime Museum.
She is survived by six nieces, Joanne Greenage-Coppage, Beverly Adams, Barbara Coleman, Debbie Alvey, Kathy Martin and Gina Davis, three nephews, R.J. Meredith, Keith Hubbard, and Ricky Poole, a step-daughter, Sharon Shortall and her step-granddaughter, Katlyn Shortall and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Lee Wright, II and Steven Edward Wright, a daughter, Julie Ann Wright, three sisters, Claire Meredith, Peggy Hubbard and MaeBelle Poole a niece, Carolyn Mercer, and her loving dog, Kiera.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 15, 2012 at 11:00a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home P.A. in Federalsburg. The Reverend Denzil Cheek will officiate. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
