Bernette Ann Stanley Brummell's Obituary
Bernette Ann Stanley Brummell of Denton, MD passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at her home. She was 45.
She was born, Oct. 5, 1964 the daughter of Joseph M. and Thelma J. Green Stanley of Laurel, DE.
She was a graduate of Margaret Sterck School for the Deaf in Newark, DE. She was employed by Medifast, a pharmaceutical equipment company in Ridgely, MD. Bernette had worked for 14 years for the former Black & Decker plant in Easton, also worked in the Dietary department of Corisca Hills Nursing Home in Centreville, and worked in House Keeping at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, and also had worked for the Deaf Independent Living Association. She attended Ross Chapel and was a member of the Eastern Shore Association for the Deaf.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Thomas Brummell, Jr., 3 siblings, Charles E. (Kim) Green and Angela Y. Stanley, of Laurel, DE, Crystal L. Rodriquez of Seaford, DE, nephew Donato J. Rodriquez of Seaford, her in-laws, Fred T. and Jean Brummell, Sr. of Denton, 3 uncles Wayne D. Green and Carl L. Stanley (Florence) of Laurel, George Horsey of Seaford, 4 aunts Arlene V. Green and Marian Kellam (Jonathan) of Laurel,
Carlissa T. Green (Forest) of Newark, and Marie Stanley of Federalsburg, best friend and caretaker Michelle Cook of Easton, dear friend, Ashley Labelle, 3 brothers-in-law Derick Brummell, Sr. (Yvonne) and Kevin (Cynthia) of Preston, and Shelton Brummell of Denton, 1niece and 3 nephews Orlando, Kevin, II, Sierra, and Derick, Jr.
She was preceded in death by a sister Casandra D. Green, brother Joseph J. Stanley, maternal grandparents Osiclea and Albert J. Green, and her parternal grandparents Catherine and Walter T. Stanley.
