Kitty Spurry Nelson
Miss Betty was a strong adult figure in my young life in Talbot County. Our families rode horses together, swam together and enjoyed many of our community's simple pleasures. Saying she was a little bit Lucy and little bit Scarlet is so very true. She loved having a good time and cheering us all on as we competed in sports. she also loved a good party. My condolences to the family, may she rest in peace.
