Carol V. Holland Green's Obituary
Carol Virginia Green was born on March 15, 1925 in Caroline County, Maryland. She departed this life on Tuesday, October 25, 2010 at her home in Preston, Maryland. She was 85.
Also known as Carrie, she attended the public schools in Caroline County, Maryland. In her later years, she was baptized by the late Elder Ernest Holland.
Carrie loved family gatherings, cooking and talking about old times. She had a special love for her nieces and nephews and many friends.
Carrie is survived by two brothers, Frank and William Holland both of Hurlock, Maryland and one sister, Clara Walker of Federalsburg, Maryland, two sisters-in-law, Ella Holland and Mable Holland of Hurlock, Maryland, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Carrie was preceded in death by her husband Franklin Green, two brothers, Charles Holland and Leroy Holland, Jr., two sisters, Marie Fletcher, and Wilihemia Holland.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 11:00 at Greater Mount Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bethlehem. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah. Friends may visit the church from 10:00 to 11:00 on Wednesday.
