I was honored to know Charles Callaway for many years. The last time I saw him when he was healthy his son Clifford and I drove to Suicide Bridge restaurant for dinner. As I recall he had fried oysters. I believe those were his favorite. I also remember that he paid the bill. He was a dear man and a good father to his son and daughter and a wonderful husband. I am sure he is with his wife now and at peace. My heart goes out to all family and friends who will miss him.

Mr Charles was a team member of the Bethel Community House of Seaford and had a wonderful since of humor. He always had a quick comeback for every situation. We will miss his charming ways and his always willing to help out even after he became ill. He was a fighter but I know deep in his heart he missed his Pauline so I am happy for him now that the Lord saw fit to take him home. Rest well in the sweet arms of Jesus Mr. Charles and enjoy an eternity of praising our Lord and Savior.
