My condolences to the Mowbray family on the passing of Charlie.

My late husband (David) and I along with his parents, Bill & Cathell Murphy of Denton, camped with Charlie & Jeanette for many years. Our trips took us to Lancaster (PA), Chincoteague (VA), Cape Charles (VA), Trap Pond (DE) and many other places.

My fondest memory of Charlie is his being dubbed the "Chicken Man" - it was his job to be the one to barbecue the chicken everyone brought on our camping trips.

I remember him being such a sweet man and always laughing about something with his distinct laugh. He was truly one of a kind!!
