Christy was one of the first persons I became acquainted with when moving to Federalsburg back in the mid 1970's. She was a officer in Little League baseball and helped bring in Federalsburg to the county senior league system which I was involved in. She was always welcoming , detailed but the kids were most important and she knew all of them. I was away and did not find out until yesterday that she had passed. She will be greatly missed.

Ms. Pierce was absolutely my favorite teacher. Her passion for teaching and dedication to all her students will always be remembered. Sending condolences to her family.
I was a fifth grade, mid-year transfer at FES. As my sixth-grade teacher, Ms. Pierce prepared me for higher grade levels and ignited my love for learning. I will be forever grateful for her influence within my life.
I have wonderful memories of Miss Pierce. She thought alot of my late son, Scott Murphy. Everytime we saw each other we would talk about Scott. Now they are in heaven, talking up a storm. Prayers for her family.
