Remembering Dave fondly.
Dave was my full time admin NCO when I was the commander of Company C, 2-115th. I aways found him to be dilligent, yet fun loving, detail oriented, yet aways willing to help anyone, and he used to have my operations sergeant in stitches by noon, no matter what mood he was in. Dave used to tease us about being Baltimore "city boys" and always talked about coming down to Federalsburg to see what life was supposed to be like; and when we "came a callin'," we found out he was right. He served the company and his community well and I will long remember him, as will the rest of the members of the unit.
David - Its so hard to believe you are gone. Its been a long time since we have seen each other. The last time i saw you, you showed me pictures of your children and were so proud of them. We had some good times over the years with family and friends. I rode by the apartment you lived in on main st. Federalsburg so many years ago. It brought back so many good memories. Even though time passes and we all lose touch we never forget the memories. I hope your family and children find it in their hearts the peace of knowing you are at peace now and an angel looking over them. You will be missed by all.
