David Joseph Laramore's Obituary
David Joseph Laramore of Crumpton, MD, known to many as “Chicken Hawk” passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 in Salisbury, MD. He was 45.
Born Aug. 14, 1967 in Texas, he was the son of Thomas Laramore of Federalsburg and Ida M. Laramore of Texas.
David was a graduate of Colonel Richardson High School Class of 1987. He served in the Army National Guard for 22 years as a Repell Master, and worked as a recruiter. He, also, served as a EMT volunteer at the Crumpton and Preston Volunteer Fire Companies. David enjoyed public speaking and was an excellent writer with several articles being published. His hobbies included fishing, karaoke and Nascar. David worked as a supervisor for the Heart to Heart Ambulance.
Besides his father, Thomas Laramore and his mother, Ida M. Laramore, he is survived by his wife Kimberley Long of Crumpton, three children, Wade Long of Crumpton, Kadie Laramore of Hurlock, and Gabby Laramore of Dover, DE; a sister Judith Willey of Salisbury, one niece, and two close friends Wayne Marston and Randall Tucker.
Memorial services with military honors will be on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Mark Farnell officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 to 2:00.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Framptom Funeral Home, 216 N. Main St., Federalsburg, MD 21632 to help defray funeral costs.
