I was thinking of David today while listening to a song that he was played for me at WFSI; "Rise Again" by Dallas Holm. I was shocked to find out that he had passed away. To all who care: be aware that all of my memories of David and his family are good ones. He was a gentle, kind man that was always there for me no matter what I needed him for. RIP, Brother David.

My condolences to Mrs. Joy Pearl and family on the passing of David Pearl. I remember when my late father , Morris H. Blum sold then WXTC to Family Radio in 1971 . It was renamed WFSI , and I accompanied my father on his visits to the new station to help them in their early days. I was always struck by the quiet strength of that David had as production director . I know this is also a difficult time for Bill Sadler , he and David worked so well together in making WFSI shine.
