David Pearl's Obituary
David Pearl 68, passed peacefully into the strong arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
He was born on March 25, 1945 in Vineland, NJ to the late Marvin and Mollie Green Pearl. A loving daughter, Jennifer Pearl also preceded him in death.
He graduated from Vineland High School in 1963, working as a printer for a time. He moved his family to Annapolis, MD in 1972 to work in Christian Radio as a production director where he had the opportunity to interview many community leaders and other local persons of interest.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Heritage Pearl and four children, Greg Pearl and his wife Lisa, their son, Dalton Pearl and their stepchildren, Lindsay, Anthony, Taylor and James all of Charlotte, Tennesee, a daughter, Melissa Sood and her husband Puneet of Denton, MD, their daughter, Elizabeth Alder and her husband Stephen of Everett, Washington, their son, Jack Hildebrand of Denton, MD and sons, Jeff and his wife, Stephanie of Denton, MD and Joshua and his wife Shelene of Denton and their daughters, Kendall and Jade all of Denton, MD. He is also survived by his brothers, Harold Pearl and Gary of Vineland, NJ, a sister, Denise Pearl of Concord, N. H. and their families, his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Heritage of Ocala, FL and a good friend, Bill Sadlier of Arnold, MD.
He was an active member of Shore Harvest Presbyterian Church in Easton, MD. The family has requested that donations be made in his memory to the charity of your choice or, The Building Fund, Shore Harvest Church 9560 Blackdog Alley Easton, MD 21601.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, PA, in Federalsburg with Rev. Dale Kulp officiating. Interment will follow at Bloomery Cemetery.
