Mike and I were very close friends and teammates at Tuscaloosa High School. I always admired his wit and genuine care for others. We both played end for the Black Bears. He will be missed, but his memory will never die. Much love to his family. Dwayne Archibald.
I am very sorry to hear of Mikes passing. I think he played Big Farm with us. He was a good, dependable, and kind player. We will miss him.

In remembrance of D. Michael “Mike” Riley, neighbor/friend/fellow tractor operator. I was lucky to be your neighbor for more than 20 years and your friend for over 30. Few in our respective workplaces knew of the tranquility we shared aboard our tractors, while summer mowing or winter plowing, as we tended to our Middleburg homesteads. We both loved being detached from the world if only for a few hours at a time. It was a gift we shared. But your greatest gift to me was the time you spent with my children - from infants to adults they could always look to you for guidance, laughter and love. Your presence will be missed but your lessons and our memories of time spent together will last forever. Rest well my friend. Roll Tide.

I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. To me, he will always be known as "D. Michael Riley". I worked with and for Mike for many years with the National Credit Union Administration(NCUA). Mike was always such a great guy to be around. He had a profound impact on my career as well as many other individuals who worked for NCUA. Again, such a sad day to hear of Mike's passing.
