David Michael Riley's Obituary
EASTON - David Michael (Mike) Riley, originally from Tuscaloosa, AL, and later residing in Walnut Creek, CA, Middleburg, VA, and Easton, MD, sadly passed away on January 18, 2024.
Mike, born on September 16, 1946, was the son of the late Elmo and Louise Riley. He was a cherished husband to Lori Tolson Riley and a dear brother to James Riley (Jim) and Eleanor Bush. He was predeceased by his brother, Elmo Riley, Jr. (Bo).
As a son and brother-in-law, Ken and Carol Bergmann and Chris and Carolyn Tolson warmly regarded and loved him. He was also deeply loved by many nieces and nephews.
Mike served his country in the United States Air Force and afterward attended the University of Alabama. Roll Tide!
Mike's passing is a significant loss to all who knew him. His life was marked by his love for his family, dedication to his community, and passion for his work.
His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life he led and the positive impact he had on those around him.
A service of celebration and resurrection will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church (UMC) at 304 South Talbot Street, St. Michaels, MD. The family will welcome friends and relatives at St. Luke's UMC from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which will be one hour prior to the service at 12:00 PM. St. Michaels, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity Choptank, Salvation Army, St. Luke's UMC, or Talbot Humane. Thank you.
