Doris Mae Covey Harding's Obituary
Doris Mae Covey Harding passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Easton. She was 81.
She was born on October 21, 1929 in Easton, MD, daughter of the late Nelson Covey and Sarah J. Williamson Covey.
She graduated from Preston High School in 1946 in which she had served as class president. She was the owner and operator of Midshore Fabrics and Workroom since 1951.
Doris is survived by three children, Michael Harding and his wife, Cindy, Susan Runnels and her husband, David, Jimmy Harding and his wife, Mary all of Federalsburg, six grandchildren, Nancy Nagel and her husband, Donald of Federalsburg, Lori Schmick and her husband, Jay of Linchester, Michael Harding and his companion Maestro Ozuna of Ellicott City, Scott Runnels and his companion Hope Hall of Preston, Katie Doriann Harding of Federalsburg, Leslie Krackow and her husband, Darrin of Marian, Virginia, three great-grandchildren, Lisa Nagel and her companion Julie, Nicholas Robinson, Perry Runnels, a great-great grandson, Ethan Nagel, and Doris’ special friend, Bob Grunden of Easton. She was preceded in death by her son, David Harding, and a great-grandson, Donnie Nagel.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 12 noon at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11-12.
