Ed was a good neighbor and a decent boss. Never far from a joke book and a few of his jokes were even funny.
He could tell a lot of stories (with a few repeats in there) and he had a lot of wisdom to share. Ed taught me great deal of skills that have served me well in life. I can turn a wrench, fix a leak, water plants “the right way” and never take life too seriously. I will miss him.

Mr. Collins was a great man and a hard worker. I started working for he and Mrs. Beckie in 1996 and continued until 2001 when I finished college. We had some great times at the greenhouses. Mr. Collins made it fun and he taught me alot of things. We always joked that I was the son he never had. I visited him in the hospital and we had a good visit. I have a love for farming that continues today thanks to my grandfather and Mr. Collins. I am so fortunate that I had Mr. Collins in my life, he helped mold me into the man I am today. See you again someday.
