Edward Webster Eskridge, known fondly as “Webby” passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. He was 67. He was born August 26, 1946 in Salisbury, MD, the son of the late John Read Obituary

I only met him once or twice, but I know he has a wonderful daughter!! She's a great friend!
I didn't know Webby well, although I followed him a year behind through school. The last time we met was 1967-8, at the bus station in Easton. We had greeted each other, and then I realized I had left my purse behind. He was a handsome sailor in uniform, and
graciously gave me ten cents to call my Mom. By that time, I was "a lot" younger than he was, and very grateful. Your obituary makes this sound like a typical Webby story. I am sorry for your loss. Sue Corkran, Hurlock

Sending love and prayers from the Blanos Family. Miles and time kept us from seeing eachother as often as maybe we would have liked... but the memories of the years gone by are in my heart. My best summers as a kid were spent in Md. many of them learning how to pic veggies on the farm and sharing all the tradition that comes along with that Webby was and always will be a special part of those memories... So very sorry for your loss! I met Webby while living on Hog Creek Road. He was such a kind man and hardworking. He was very fond of his family.
I grew up with Webby in Galestown and have many fond memories. He was such a nice, kind person. His whole family was one to remember, always assisting others.
