Truly a wonderful guy, a very good banker and ok basketball senior player. I had the wonderful privilege snd great fortune to work with Ed by funding numerous apartment projects and then through management of residential loans for the MNB business line. Ed was a good friend, mentor, colleague. Many thanks gor his guidance and help throughout my career.
I first met Ed, literally the first day on the job as a young law clerk for Ed's childhood friend, Dave Carney. He was a hugely regarded mortgage banker, and our professional relationship grew into a 45+ year friendship. I can honestly say there are few people who had a more influential and positive influence on my professional career. Godspeed, Ed-and your unwavering integrity and strong work ethic lives on in your sons. Condolences to Leah and all the Murn family.
