Kathleen Franke
How sorry I was to learn of Elaine's death. I met her when she was on the Pathways program with Hospice. I was her volunteer and came to the house to visit. Since she was so independent that all she would let me do was help her make the bed since that was difficult for her. I continued to visit her and Mr. Magrath when they were at William Hill Manor and then after they moved to the Gardens. I always enjoyed my time with them and was amazed at her strength even during her attacks. The last time I saw her was shortly before I went on vacation. She was having a severe attack at that time and I tried to comfort her. It was difficult to see her in so much pain. I will always cherish the wonderful shamrock door stop that she gave me for Christmas as it will be a reminder of what a wonderful and strong person she was. Unfortunately, I was away when the obituary was in the paper and did not see it until this evening after the service. If Mr. Magrath is still at the Gardens I will stop by and extend my condolences to him. My sincerest sympathy to all of the family. I heard so much about you that I feel like I know you. So happy that you were able to be here to celebrate Thanksgiving together. I know that meant a lot to her. You will all be in my prayers.
