I will always remember my mother's love for her niece Ann. Mom and Ann shared their mutual love of Books! I can remember from the time I was young Ann dropping in on a Saturday morning with an arm full of books to exchange with Mom. They would talk about their latest "read" and Ann would leave with a new collection of books that Mom shared with her. To know Ann was to love her. She was such a kind gentle soul.

I met Ann when I was 11. We were very close until we graduated from high school, and we visited as often as I was able until her passing. She was so smart and funny! Now there is one less person who knows my whole life story. I will miss her. In her memory I've donated adequate funds to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation adequate to plant 14 native trees as streams idea buffers or plant 7000 native oysters or sponsor a student. I know she would have liked that.
