Ellsworth Kenneth Miller's Obituary
Ellsworth Kenneth Miller of Federalsburg, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Easton. He was 69.
He was born on March 20, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late F. Roy Miller and Katharina Emma Miller. He was preceded in death by his wife of forty-two years, Patricia Carol Miller, whom he married on June 25, 1962.
He was a graduate of Brooklyn Park High School Class of 1962. He received his bacherlors degree from University of Baltimore. Ellsworth formerly worked for Wyeth/Ayerst as a pharmaceutical representative. He also worked as a car runner for Gateway Subaru in Delmar and was a car salesman and car runner for the Preston Auto Group. He most recently worked as a driver for Medifleet Medical Currier.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston. He served as the past president of the Federalsburg Little League and as the past president of the Colonel Richardson Band Boosters. He was an avid sports enthusiast and always a home town supporter which included his Baltimore Colts, Baltimore Ravens, and Baltimore Orioles. In more recent years, he enjoyed target shooting at the gun range. Ellsworth will always be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his two children, Carole D. Greenage and her husband, Billy of Preston, Kenny Miller of Federalsburg, three grandchildren, Samantha Greenage, Thomas Greenage, and Michael Greenage, and a brother, (Father Deacon) Bruce Miller of Columbia, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston with Rev. Thomas Becker, officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
