Jim and I were born the same year, 1938, he in April, me in December, both in Charleroi. We were cousins and friends growing up together in Charleroi, living close to each other and spending many happy boyhood hours together. I didn't see "Jimmy" for many years, but we did spend time together at the "50's" reunion of Charleroi High School in 2000, and I did talk with him on the phone earlier this summer. My sympathies to his family and friends - I too was family and a friend. I am still in touch with Lorraine and have many warm memories of Carl and Ann.

Jim and his adorable wife Donna and beautiful daughter Barbara lived next door to my family in College Point N. Y. He and Donna were so kind to us five kids. They would take us to the beach, exposed us to our first ice skating experience and Jim would fix and sometimes make bikes for us. They showed me a different family lifestyle which left a lasting impression on me. May your soul be at peace old friend. May God give peace and comfort to your beautiful daughters, grandchildren and great grand child. Liz
