Spry and I played on the same baseball teams together in the '60s(Cheryl was my classmate at SMHS). Spry was not only a good ball player; he was also a good sportsman, great teammate and an even better person. Spry did not pass on. He passed over to a better place. It will be up to everyone who knew him (family/friends) to "pass him on", through stories from their hearts and minds, to all they meet. That way others will know his rich and genuine character. Also, what kind of outstanding individual he was. As you all "pass him on" from generation to generation, he'll always be around forever. God Bless Spry's Family and Friends. Spry was the glue that made sure we had our St. Michaels High School re-union (especially the 45th) and then last year we celebrated our 50th year. His heart was SO BIG! You couldn't help LOVE him. He could always cheer you up; make you feel special. He will be missed. Tears are being wept for sadness, but also for the joy we all received from knowing Spry. We love you, Spry!
