Even though Jed and I hadn't talked in a while, he was never far from my thoughts. Jed had the heart of a lion. I never saw someone so determined, so strong, and so committed to whatever he wanted to do. The time we spent together both in the United States and in the Philippines are memories that I will carry with me the rest of my life. Whenever I'm doing something difficult and think about giving up, Jed comes to my mind and it gives me strength to persevere and succeed. My condolences go out to his family and loved ones and I apologize for not being able to attend the services in person. I am an old friend of Jed's who knew him through his friends Teddy and Brenda and the gang from Arden Contracting. Though I've not seen him in many years, I remember him as a good and kind human being and a lot of fun to be around. I will always have fond memories of Jed.
