My family and I are so sorry to hear of your lose. John will be remembered by many . Please never forget our heavenly father does love us and everything he has told us has and will come true especially regarding the hope of seeing our loved ones again , John 5:28,29 and at that time death and pain will be no more, Rev. 21:3,4 my family and I would like to give our deepest sympathy and condolences at this most difficult time.
It was not until today, the first of October, that I learned of Johnny's death. He was my best friend here in Bozman. I met him when I first moved here 53 years ago. He was an intelligent and caring man, whose friendship I will forever treasure. We commercial fished and tonged together, at his invitation. I was his eager student, and I learned from the best. Our hours together on the water were rich in meaningful conversation. Jeff and Joanna, you were blessed with an incredible father, a real man whose goodness shown through his humanizing weaknesses. In short, he was real. My life has been forever enriched, and I will never forget him.

Joanna & Jeff, Your father and I have known each other since the mid 1960 's. We offer our condolences to you and your families. I have experienced many fishing trips with your Dad on the "JB" and my boat. We discussed a lot of different things, you name it we talked about it. The one subject that all ways arose was our families. It was very evident to me, that your Dad loved his family very much. I will truly miss those times we shared together on the water as friends. The second most love of his life after his family was being on the water everyday. Joanna & Jeff, your father was a great man and a close friend to me.
