John A. Bridges
Bozman, John A. “Johnny†Bridges of Bozman, died at the home of his daughter, in Easton on Sunday September 25, 2016. He was 68. Born in Annapolis, Md.on December 27, 1947, he was the son of the late Edward O. “Capt. Otis†and Lillian “Tat†Wayman Bridges. John attended public school in St. Michaels, where he graduated in 1965. In 1967 he married the former Janet E. Jones. John entered the U.S. Army in 1968 and was released honorably in 1970. Following his release from active duty he returned to Bozman, where he began a life-long career as a commercial waterman, as well as owner and operator of the Bozman General Store. John was an avid out-doorsman he crabbed, oystered and was well known for his successful fishing, and sea ducking party business. His beloved wife Janet died in 2004. John is survived by his two children; Joanna Redmond (Bill) of Easton, Jeff Bridges (Lidiya) of Bozman, three Grandchildren; Cheyenne, Sheridan, and Dragana. A viewing will be held at the Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. 312 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels, MD; on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
