Worked with John at Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. Loved planning services with him and working closely with John. He restarted our Kids Klub program on Wednesdays after school. We now have over 60 kids ever Wednesday in attendance. He had a beautiful voice and loved singing. He had a great heart for the Lord.
A lifelong relationship between the Nalley and Hilliard families!! I remember playing by the creek in the back of the Nalley farm with John and finding arrowheads. Many a pleasant visit with John and his family. So many good memories. RIP dear friend
John and I were in Ridgely Elementary together. We sat at the same table for lunch plus being in the same class. Even though his family moved, I never forgot his giggle. We reconnected on Facebook and classmates.com. I'm only sorry we never got to have a person to person visit. He was a talented artist and it was obvious that he loved his family. I will miss "chatting" with him.
John Nalley was our nerghbor for several years. Chester and I have one of the paintings he gave to us when he was in Caroline nursing home. He was a good neighbor and a friend. Rest in peace John. Chester and Joyce Armes
