Leroy Martin Frase, Sr.'s Obituary
Leroy Martin Frase, Sr. of Preston passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 79.
He was born on July 23, 1944 in Preston, Maryland, the son of the late Frederick Frase and Anna Bessie Eberhard Frase.
He started his working career delivering milk for Koontz Dairy, and Green Spring Dairy. Later he worked for Fooks Concrete and retired from Jack and Jill Ice Cream also as a delivery driver.
He was married to Barbara L. Frase on his birthday, July 23, 1965. She preceded him in death on August 15, 2022.
In his free time, Leroy loved to work in his garden, and was a talented woodworker building cabinets and furniture. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons: Leroy Frase, Jr. of Denton and Billy Frase and his wife Kristan of Hurlock; two grandchildren: Madison Rose Frase and Maura Grace Frase; and his friend, caregiver and neighbor Justyce Mulder.
In addition to his wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Frase.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Buddy Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. The family will receive friends from 10-11.
