We will never forget you Mary Helen. You kept a watchful eye on young Patrick as he crabbed in Rock Creek. You called me from a pay phone at a marina, and said something in the water was watching you. Later we saw news coverage of the manatee. On and on I could go with stories of your kindness toward people and animals. Sending you a big warm hug in heaven.
Words cannot express the loss I felt when I learned yesterday. Mary was the kindest, most thoughtful person that I have known. Her delightful smile and soft voice will forever be missed. Those of us that knew and loved her were deeply blessed!
I met Mary shortly after she retired. We made our first basket together. She was my best friend and a day won't go by that I won't think of her. What a very special person she was. My condolences to Ed and her "girls".
