Mary Helen Fiedler's Obituary
Mary Helen Fiedler of Royal Oak, Maryland passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015. She was 72.
She was born on February 23, 1943, in Baltimore the daughter of the late John Emil Ellingsen, Sr. and Mary Helen Ellingsen.
She grew up in Glen Burnie moving to Pasadena upon marrying her husband Edward. After being employed for over thirty years with the Department of Immigration and Naturalization in Baltimore she and Ed moved to Royal Oak.
Over the years Mary Helen enjoyed boating, basket weaving and knitting with friends, visiting with family and caring for her beloved Norwich terriers Biscuit, Hannah, and Becky.
Mary Helen is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Edward Louis Fiedler, Jr., two sisters, Heidi Garlick (John) of Easton, MD, Kristine Penrod of Seaford, DE, her niece and goddaughter, Jamie Beth Allen (Chad) of Bridgeville, great-nieces, Emily and Kelsey Allen of Bridgeville, DE., her sister-in-law, Joyce Dreer (Phil) of Pasadena, MD.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Emil Ellingsen, Jr. and James Hans Ellingsen and a brother-in-law, Allen Penrod.
