It was with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Mary, a sister in Christ and a beloved member of the Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church family. Mary exemplified compassion and grace, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mary was not only a source of support and encouragement in my own battle with cancer, serving as my "Cancer Godmother", but she also lived a life grounded in her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She relied solely upon His grace for her salvation, and her faith shone brightly through her actions and words even is the midst of her struggles.
Her unwavering love for the Lord inspired those around her and brought comfort to many. Mary’s kindness, warmth, and ability to listen created a safe and inviting space for all, and her legacy of faith and love will continue to guide us.
We are grateful for the time we shared with Mary and the many ways she touched our lives. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in our hearts, reminding us to embrace the grace she so beautifully exemplified.
Rest in Jesus, dear Mary. We will miss you, but we look forward to the day that we will reunite with you in glory in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
