Mary L. Graff's Obituary
Mary Lea Graff of Chester, Maryland passed away on November 22, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary was born in 1941 in Elkins, West Virginia and was daughter of the late Wallace Strahin and Helen Strahin. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mary was a selfless woman with a huge heart and a strong positive nature. She was an amazing baker and loved sharing her gift with her family and friends. She loved to read, enjoyed nature, working in her beautiful garden and having long talks with her sisters.
Mary loved her family dearly and is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, George Graff, her son James and his wife Ruth, her daughter Kimberly Azar and her husband David, her son Barrett and his wife Jessika along with her grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Jennifer, Christopher, Jamie, Savannah, Brayden and Naomi and great grandsons Joseph and Ayden. She is also survived by her siblings Richard, Bob, Jim, Gary, Jean and Dawn. Her family will remember her for her strength and devotion to them. They will always feel the love she gave them and the special place they held in her heart.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday December 14, 2004 at the Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church located at 931 Love Point Rd, Stevensville, MD 21666
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, a charity very dear to Marys heart. www.stjude.org
