I have only know Nancy for a little over a year, but she has meant the world to me. Nancy was the most beautiful caring optimistic sweet lady I have ever known. We instantly connected and had the best times together going out to eat and talking for hours. She will always have a special place in my heart. I miss her so very much. She was loved by so many people especially her family, which meant the world to her. I was so happy when she meet John. They were perfect together. I really feel God lead us both to Nancy in the last year of her live not only to comfort Nancy but to enrich both of our lives by having know this absolutely truly amazing woman. NANCY, I THINK i,ll write this directly to you.We go back to 2012 when our paths crossed and we became very close. You were a very receptive woman who tried to practice new ways to cope, I was often so proud of your progress. Your devotion was directed to your 4 kids and their wonderful kids. No crowd was too large, bring it on, a loving generous hostess.Holidays were so fun...You did not get loved deeply, whether family or a dear client. And when life sent a curve ball you truly grew in your ability to handle life,s adjustments. Kids and dogs were a passion..A beautiful soul, on the inside and outside. I will truly miss your smile and genuine love for those around you. This curve ball came too soon, you had alot more to do...but I hope you,re funding peace, and probably arranging a Pickle Ball tournament with those knees working again! Love always, my friend. Gay

I call Nancy Mom. She was there for me when I was in Salisbury with Genn. Holidays especially Thanksgiving I would go with Genn to DE and celebrate Thanksgiving with the family. I am grateful for her and the families kindness. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed.

Back when Bill and I were in college I would accompany him to the whirlwind that was the Misita home. There was a great energy led by the smile of Nancy Misita. Ever since then whenever I’ve seen her through the years, I always notice her great smile and energy. Sending love, comfort and lifelong friendship to Bill, his sisters and the rest of the many who loved her.

Nancy was an incredible soul filled with nothing but light and love, and her smile radiated her loving spirit. Our family has known Nancy all of our lives. She was truly the adopted “Lockwood Daughter”. Her grandmother and my grandmother were very dear friends. The love of these two women brought the Phillips and Lockwood families together. Our families spent many wonderful times together, both in Freeport and Bellport. Nancy, I cannot tell you how much you are loved. You were a huge part of the “Lockwood 6’s” childhood, and our Mom and Dad also loved you to no end! I am blessed to have had you in my life. May God keep you in the palm of His hand and protect you always. I often remember you saying “I’m one tough Irish broad.” Well now you are at peace… “May the sunshine warm upon your face. May the rains fall upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.” Love you!!!
