Nathan Neal Nowottnick's Obituary
Nathan Neal Nowottnick of Preston, MD died on Saturday, July 15, 2006 from injuries suffered while riding his motorcycle in a crash with a truck near his home. He was 44.
He was born on August 29, 1961 in Annapolis, MD the son of the late Martha Gertrude Beall Nowottnick, who died on May 6, 2006, and John Robert Nowottnick of Prince Frederick, Maryland.
He was a graduate of Frederick Douglas High School in Upper Marlboro, MD in Prince George’s County.
He was presently working for Baltimore Gas and Electric out of Crofton where he had worked as a Transmission Lineman for over 15 years.
He was an assistant coach for Colonel Richardson High School’s Golf Team, the Girl’s Softball Team and numerous softball and Little League Baseball teams located in southern Caroline County.
Each August he went to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the Dupont World Amateur Golf Tournament. He was a member of Caroline Country Club and enjoyed participating in anything that had to do with sports, and in particular, sports in which his children were involved. He found it a form of relaxation to mow up around his property.
In addition to his father, John Robert Nowottnick, Sr. he is survived by his wife, Erminia “Minia” Rosonova Nowottnick, a daughter, Tabitha Ann Nowottnick, a son, Nikolaus Neal Nowottnick, two brothers, John Robert Nowottnick, Jr. of Prince Frederick, MD and Wayne Franklin Nowottnick, Sr. of Preston, MD and 10 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for him are going to be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Hurlock, MD with Rev. David Talley officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call the church from 10-1.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg, MD.
The family has suggested that donations be made in his memory to the Tabitha and Nikolaus Nowottnick College Fund c/o Provident State Bank Preston, MD 21655.
