I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that came to Mom's funeral to show their respects. It was a wonderful tribute to her and a great comfort to all of us. I also want to thank our niece Dawn. She has been the one who took care of all of Mom's needs over the last few years, sorted out all the paperwork for her to be able to stay at Mallard Bay and in the end prepared a service that was just wonderful. I could never imagine doing anything differently. It was perfect in every way. I just wish there was some way I could thank her for all that she has done. It was a comfort and gave me a great peace of mind to know that she was right there for all that Mom needed. And with living so far away, that was very important to me.Also, I would like to thank Joe Owstrowski for helping Dawn do such a wonderful job. But more than that, I would like to let him know how very much I appreciate the "personal" care that he gave to my mother. Begining with never referring to her as "the body" but always calling her Mrs. Phyllis. It was such a warm feeling and made things much easier to handle. He even stayed at graveside to be sure that things were done correctly as the grave was closed. I can't begin to tell you how much the warm personal touches meant to us and how it helped to ease the sadness and pain. His rememberances of our family were a comfort as well. He remembered my father calling me Kimmy Ann, something that was very special to me. He remembered all of Danny's various shennanigans and many other things that made being at the funeral home easier. I can't begin to thank Joe either but just know that in my eyes....you have found your calling and I thank God that you and Dawn were both there for this very difficult event in my life.Love to both of youKim Haddaway Bonner
